The Next Chapter for Campsis and Independent Consulting

An update on my professional journey, the ongoing evolution of Campsis, and future support for the pharmacometrics ecosystem.

With the recent migration of the Campsis ecosystem to the dedicated campsisverse organization complete, I wanted to take a moment to share an update on my professional path and what lies ahead for the project.

Transitioning Forward

After a fantastic multi-year collaboration, my professional relationship with Calvagone has come to a close, and I no longer work with them. I want to express my gratitude for the journey we shared and the milestones we achieved together in advancing modeling and simulation tools.

However, this transition opens an exciting new chapter. I am fully committed to remaining an independent software engineer and consultant, with a primary focus on maintaining, supporting, and further extending the Campsis suite.

What This Means for Campsis Users

  • Active Development & Support: The open-source packages (campsis, campsismod, campsisnca, campsismisc, campsisqual, campsistrans) will continue to receive active maintenance, bug fixes, and feature expansions.
  • Independent Governance: Operating independently ensures that the ecosystem remains open, transparent, and driven by the needs of the pharmacometrics community.
  • Consulting & Collaboration: I am available for independent consulting, custom feature development, training workshops, and quantitative analysis projects centered around PK/PD simulation and reproducible R workflows.
